A Victorian Gem,
Sensitively Restored
Built in 1891 as a private country residence, the clubhouse was acquired by the club in 1923 and has been the heart of Fairway ever since. A six-year restoration programme completed in 2019 returned every room to its Victorian splendour while equipping the building with modern hospitality facilities.
The clubhouse is a Grade II listed building of special architectural and historic interest, set within its own formal gardens overlooking the 18th green.

Three distinct dining and drinking environments, each with its own personality — from a fine dining restaurant to a relaxed post-round bar.
Fairway Restaurant
Contemporary British cuisine showcasing the best of seasonal, local produce. Head Chef Daniel Carver trained at two Michelin-starred establishments before joining Fairway in 2021. The restaurant has been awarded a Rosette by the AA for three consecutive years.

The Spike Bar
The natural home of post-round conversation. The Spike Bar serves an all-day menu of lighter dishes, sandwiches, sharing plates and daily specials — alongside a curated selection of ales, wines and the finest single malt whiskies.

The Harrington Room
Fairway's private dining room seats up to 24 guests in a beautifully restored Victorian setting. The Harrington Room is available to members for private dinners, corporate entertaining, and celebrations.
A bespoke menu is created for each event in collaboration with our head chef. The room includes a private bar, butler service and access to the adjoining morning room.

A south-facing terrace overlooking the 18th green — the perfect setting for drinks after your round or watching the final holes of a club competition.
Secure Car Park
A 180-space car park with reserved bays for senior members, EV charging points and CCTV coverage. Complimentary for all members and guests.
Junior Facilities
A dedicated junior lounge, practice putting green and junior locker bay — making Fairway a welcoming environment for members of all ages.
Spike Bar TV Lounge
Three large screens in the Spike Bar showing live golf and major sporting events. A popular venue on Ryder Cup and Major Championship weekends.
The Library
A quiet reading room and working space, available to members at all times. Stocked with golf literature and club archives dating back to 1923.
